One day you go to the theater and discover the moving story of Hypatia of Alexandria, the first female scientist in our culture, who inspires you with her curiosity to understand the cosmos. Volunteers from the audience come on stage to participate in chemistry and physics experiments involving fire, fluids, and the element of stars: hydrogen. Through these experiments, you discover the astrolabe and the cone of Apollonius: you hold a projection of the observable universe in your hands! All attendees participate in a collaborative final experiment from their seats. As Hypatia was also the first female teacher in our history, we give the teachers a special gift, a grand tribute to their important work. And all attendees take home several souvenirs of the experience to continue experimenting with after the show.
This show has been rated the best activity at the Sant Boi Technology Fair. It has already reached more than 50,000 people, with a 10/10 rating from the schools and family audiences who attended. It can also be obtained for FREE with the purchase of copies of the book Hypatia and Hydrogen for schools and libraries in the municipality.
